ItsJustHosting (by the way, it should be IT‘S rather than ITS, but obviously you cannot have that in a hostname) has released some cheap VPS packages. For $6.99/month,
- 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
- 10GB storage
- 50GB/month data transfer
- Fully managed
- Debian, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, Gentooto
Servers are in state of the art data center located in Dallas, Texas, USA — not sure which one though, as their main website is hosted in Phoenix. They also appear to use desktop-grade servers (Core 2 Duo) athlough they don’t necessarily mean bad things in this end of market. Other features such as 100mbps connections, DDoS protected network and fully managed solutions.
Interestingly from their terms of services, you are not allowed to host sexually explicit and porn sites. I guess it would be a no for those who wished to host that kind of websites, but might be a plus if you do not wish to have your IP range blocked by corporate filtering software
What’ more,
If you buy Semi-Annual (get 1 Month FREE),buy Annual Price (get 2 Months FREE)

RAM Host is offering their Micro VPS for $2.99 per month.
- 80MB guaranteed / 128MB burstable memory
- 2GB storage
- 50GB/month data transfer
- OpenVZ + In-House Control Panel (RAM CP)
- Arch, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Gentoo, Slackware, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu
It’s nice to see that they have a demo of their in-house built control panel (and explicitly stated that they are not using HyperVM). RAMCP is very functional (start/stop/restart VM, reload OS, download backups, basic stats) although not pretty (who cares at $2.99/month!) The servers are in Kanas City MO with Level 3, Cogent, AFS and KCIX connectivity. Their website is powered by RAM-CMS written by the owner — yes a developer-run provider which is always a good sign.
RAM Host is now offering unmanaged virtual dedicated servers – limited semi-management (hand-holding) is also included.
All of our VPS servers are not oversold and we can prove it – you will get predictable and constant performance – just like a real dedicated server.
Following are our pre-built plans. If you need something more/less/different, contact us for custom setup configurations and quotes.

xenSmart has 20% recurring discount on their Xen VPS, which makes the cheapest plan at £5/month.
Each VPS is based on a direct allocation of real, physical hardware; and is fully isolated from all other VPS on the hardware node. Xen “ParaVirtualization” technology allows near-native performance, and you can compile and load your own kernel modules. The kernel itself however, is shared with the host machine.
You get:
- 128MB memory/128MB swap
- 10GB storage
- 150GB/month data transfer
- HyperVM
Server at UK at BlueSquare.

There are some hosts that present lots of information on their website to help prospects making decisions. Then there are some who leave important information hidden. HostCadet is probably one of them. Spotted their VPS offer from $5.99/month — which gives you:
- 128MB memory
- 5GB storage
- 100GB/month data transfer
No info on what kind of virtualization technology they use. No words on where they are hosted or test IP (although their website is hosted at Colorado Info Tech). At least they have some very out dated Linux distributions that help you to run your old applications. Debian 3.1 anyone? Or Fedora 6? The glowing server looks pretty hot though.
Although the domain has been registered since 2007, but it appears that the site has only recently (05.2009) been in the current state. So buyers beware.
